Let's play: Fantasy Premier League GW27

After a game week spanning 12 days, it's gonna be nice to have everything back to normal this weekend. Personally, I'm just glad the Man City game got reschedule to the same game week so De Bruyne could still earn points as captain. You couldn't see the gloom of the financial fairplay penalty in their performance against West Ham. It's gonna be exciting to see if they can keep up the pace away against Leicester in a head to head for second place. Below you'll find my pick of this week's ones to watch.

Goalkeeper: Pope 4.7m (Burnley)

90 minutes in all games this season and 9 clean sheets to show for it. Pope and Burnley are on the path of a good season and they got two easy games coming up against Bournemouth and Newcastle.

Defender: Alexander-Arnold 7.7m (Liverpool)

3 games without a goal or an assist are atypical for Alexander-Arnold, who has managed a whopping 12 assists so far this season. Home against West Ham seems like a good game to get back in the saddle.

Midfielder: Westwood 5.4m (Burnley)

Westwood has also been a big part of Burnley's success this season with 2 goals and 6 assists. With Barnes out and Wood doubtfull more goalscoring responsibility is gonna fall to other players in the Burnley team and that could very well be Westwood.

Attacker: Ayew 5.0m (Crystal Palace)

6 goals and 1 assist in over 2000 minutes isn't super impressive for an attacker, but at a price of 5.0m things start to make sense. Crystal Palace got 4 easy games in a row, so if your funds are tight and you need a cheap attacker who plays almost every game, then Ayew is a great pick.

Lineup for the next game week:

Leicester's schedule is toughening up, so Pereira (Leicester) is out. I'm also transferring out Moura (Spurs), who hasn't been impressive despite a lot of games in top, and to free up some funds, Westwood (Burnley) takes his place. That gives me enough money to bring in Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool) instead of Pereira making my final lineup look like this:
