Let's play: Fantasy Premier League GW21
With a little help from VAR Liverpool won their 10th match in a row in Premier League even though a Wolves team missing some of their biggest stars gave them a good run for their money. Last game week also featured a late comeback for Chelsea when they beat Arsenal at Emirates, and despite changing 9 players Leicester still won away against West Ham which also cost Pellegrini his job. All in all, a very exciting week.
We're quickly back at it with a new game week starting the 1st of January, and here we also got some interesting fixtures. Arsenal is playing Man Utd and Man City is taking on the new and improved Everton team, but personally I'm looking forward to seeing if Watford can keep their great form against a very well playing Wolves team.
Below you'll find my pick of this week's ones to watch.
Player Won. Overall Points: 1092. Overall Rank: 742.472

Goalkeeper: Alisson 6.0m (Liverpool)
Okay, this is perhaps a bit easy, but home against Sheffield Utd, Liverpool has to be able to keep a clean sheet. Sheffield Utd has played great this season, but the current position as number 8 is mainly due to a great defense.
Defender: Pereira 6.4m (Leicester)
Pereira got some well-deserved rest in the Leicester's game, so he should be in top condition when Leicester take on Newcastle at St. James' Park. I admit I had my doubts about Leicester when they lost to both Man City and Liverpool in two consecutive game weeks, but to play with reserves against West Ham and still win is tremendous, so with a starting lineup back to normal, Newcastle won't be a problem.
Midfielder: Traoré 5.5m (Wolves)
Traoré has gotten his big breakthrough in Wolves this season scoring 4 goals and generating 4 assists mainly after being moved further up the pitch. Great news for Wolves so every goal doesn't have to go through Jiménez (Wolves). Away against Watford could be troublesome though, but Watford will surely have their hands full trying yo control Traoré.
Attacker: Vardy 10.1m (Leicester)
Vardy is on the path to a really great season. With 17 goals and 5 assists in 19 matches, he's one of the main reasons Leicester find themselves in 2nd place. He looks like the player you just need to include in your team this year if you can find the funds available because stating at 9.0m he's already grown more then 1m in value.
Lineup for the next game week:
I'm saving my free transfer this week, so no changes in the squad. I believe Liverpool will have no difficulties against Sheffield Utd., so Mané is my pick for captain. The only uncertainty is whether he plays but I'll take the gamble, otherwise, Moura (Spurs) will take over. My final lineup look like this:
