Let's play: Fantasy Premier League GW22

Last game week Watford got the better of Wolves and The Hornets are definitely on the right path towards avoiding relegation ever since Nigel Pearson took over. Last GW also featured wins for both Liverpool, Man City and Leicester, so no changes in the top of the league.

This week the top game is probably Spurs vs Liverpool in a game, where Spurs will be trying to get back on track after last week's loss against Southampton. With Son back from suspension they can perhaps give Liverpool a run for their money. Southampton is also up against it when they take on Leicester away for the first time since their 9-0 defeat. A lot has happened since that game though because, in their last 9 games, Southampton has made an average of 1.89 points per game. Not a lot of teams can get close to that performance.

Below you'll find my pick of this week's ones to watch.

Player Won. Overall Points: 1135. Overall Rank: 904.413

Goalkeeper: Schmeichel 5.4m (Leicester)

Leicester got Southampton at home in a game where Hasenhüttl will probably concentrate most on defense to avoid a similar result as the last time the two teams met. Schmeichel is the keeper that has made the most points so far this season, but other, cheaper options are not far behind if you're low on funds.

Defender: Maitland-Niles 4.6m (Arsenal)

Maitland-Niles has spent a lot of time on the bench after his red card earlier this season, but ever since the arrival of Arteta, he has been a sure starter on right-back. The result so far is 2 clean sheets, and at 4.6m he's ripe for the picking.

Midfielder: Richarlison 8.0m (Everton)

Richarlison has had a bit of weird season. Some managers probably skipped him off when Everton was underperforming at their schedule started to look very hard around GW14. But then he went on and scored against Leicester, Liverpool and Chelsea. Last game week he managed a goal against Man City and if he's able to score against teams like that, then the coming game weeks against Brighton, West Ham, Newcastle, and the likes, should be easy peasy.

Attacker: Wilson 7.4m (Bournemouth)

Back from injury, but not quite back on track. Still, 7.4m is cheap for a player of Wilson's capacity. Bournemouth has a very manageable schedule over at least the next 6 game weeks, and he's only owned by 4,7% off all managers, so this could be the player to set you apart.

Lineup for the next game week:

I'm transferring in Maitland-Niles (Arsenal) now Willems (Newcastle) is a little injured and with Newcastle's scheduled toughening up. Martial (Man Utd) is my pick for captain with Jiménez (Wolves) as backup. My final lineup look like this:
