Let's play: Fantasy Premier League GW13

The nationals break is finally over, and even though it was almost exciting to see who qualified for the Euros, I'm personally glad that everything is back to normal this week and Premier League is at it once again. It was an amazing GW12 where Leicester really made themselves contenders for top places, and Liverpool took a major step towards this year's title with their 3-1 win against Man City.

This week the fixtures include Man City against Chelsea in a duel to see who will tag along with Leicester in pursuit of Liverpool. The first game of Saturday is West Ham against Spurs though, and it's gonna be really exciting to see what Mourinho can do in his comeback to Premier League.

Below you'll find my pick of this week's ones to watch.

Goalkeeper: Pickford 5.5m (Everton)

Everton hasn't had the best season so far and the 2-1 victory against Southampton probably saved Marco Silva from getting fired during the nationals break. Everton is playing home against Norwich which is coming from a 0-2 defeat at home against Watford. This looks like a certain clean sheet for Pickford and the defense.

Defender: Alexander-Arnold 7.2m (Liverpool)

The most expensive defender and even though his point total can't fully live up to that, you can still understand why. Liverpool has an amazing defense with only 10 goals against so far this season, and on top of that Alexander-Arnold is in charge of most of the offensive set-pieces besides penalty. Liverpool's schedule is getting easier over the next game weeks so now is the time to stock up on The Reds again.

Midfielder: Mané 12.1m (Liverpool)

Even though the opposition the last 5 games have included Man City, Leicester, Man Utd and Spurs, Mané has still managed 3 goals and 3 assists. He's truly having an amazing season picking up where Salah is slacking off, and if he can avoid injury he could be the player with the most points when the season is over.

Attacker: Vardy 9.6m (Leicester)

Another player in superb form is Vardy. 6 goals and 2 assists in the last 4 games speaks for itself. Leicester has an away game against Brighton this game week followed by two games at home, so if you haven't reached the 3 player limit for Leicester it's the time to do so.

Lineup for this Game Week

Sterling (Man City) is a great player, but he hasn't performed that consistently lately and especially not when I've picked him as captain. For this, he loses his place in my squad and in comes Mané (Liverpool). It was a wrong move to sell him 4 game weeks ago, so I'm making amends. Out also goes Yarmolenko (West Ham), who hasn't been at all impressive since I transferred him in. Maddison (Leicester) takes his place and is also named captain for this week. My final lineup looks like this:
