Fantasy Premier League GW6: Joel Ward for the win

Game week 5 came with some big surprises when Norwich managed to beat Man City 3-2 on Saturday, and Sunday Arsenal threw away a 2-0 lead against the league's number 20, so all in all a pretty exciting round. On a more positive note Spurs really looked strong, and perhaps the whispers of a crisis have blown away. This week we can look forward to Chelsea vs Liverpool, perhaps it will be the first point loss for Klopp's team?

There's now 45 players in the player won league, and ATeam20 is still in the front after IsMayoAnInstrument had a horrible round - much like the official player won team. Perhaps he listened a little too close to our recommendations. We're determined to turn it around though, and this week is ours. Below you'll find our picks of this game weeks' ones to watch.

Player Won. Overall Points: 238. Overall Rank: 4.024.046

Goalkeeper: Dubravka 5.0m (Newcastle)

I think Dubravka is a pretty underrated goalkeeper in Premier League. He and Newcastle managed 11 clean sheets last season and home against a Brighton team that's missing Trossard, Knockaert, Andone and Locadia chances are definitely good.

Defender: Ward 4.5m (Crystal Palace)

Crystal Palace has 2 home games in the next two game weeks. This week they're up against Wolves who have been struggling with performing in both Premier League and Europa League. Ward has picked up after Wan-Bissaka and this is the time to show that he's up for the challenge.

Midfielder: Son 9.6m (Spurs)

An assist and two goals are the total for the 3 games Son has played after returning from his ban, so even though Spurs are playing Leicester away this week, this could still prove the right time to transfer in Son.

Attacker: Ayew 5.1m (Crystal Palace)

Ayew has played a lot this season and has payed back for the confidence shown to him by scoring two goals. At 5.1m he could be a good and cheap option when Palace's next fixtures are taken into account.

Lineup for this Game Week

I'm a bit hit by injuries and with Kelly (Crystal Palace) out, he gets a transfer, and in comes Ward also from Crystal Palace. I'm still favoring Sterling (Man City) as captain, even though he hasn't been good to me in the last two game weeks. The final lineup looks like this:
